Val Masters Training Approach is All Based on Bribery, Cookie Training, Treat Based that DOES NOT WORK, Dog Trainer Sacramento SPCA, Dog Obedience Class in Sacramento BUYER BEWARE

1- Her whole class is based on food-bribery. If you don't have treats with you or not willing to give your treats for everything you can think of, you won't be allowed to join her class.

2- Val Masters is more of a behavior consultant and NOT a dog trainer. She has a very poor training technique and it clearly shows with her own dog, or when you observe her graduation class. You obviousely will not see much difference in the dogs' training response, and the owners' handling skills. After all, seeing is believing.

3- If her cookie training approach doesn't work for you or your dog, she will most likely label your dog as "un-trainable" or with genetic poor breeding disorder. Sometimes she'll impress you with big words such as, chemical imbalance.

4- All dogs are at least 10 steps away from one another, and not allowed to socialize with each other whatsoever. Even if your dog IS friendly, Val Masters believe there will be a dog fight.

Hmm.. aren't you attending her class to teach your dog respond and focus to you around other dogs and even if they get close to you and your dog, you'll know what to do and what not to do?

5- Val Masters doesn't believe in humane use of different training tools, if and when a regular collar, or a gentle leader doesn't do the job. So it's either her way or the highway.

Val even forbids you in saying "NO" to your dog. If you catch your pooch make a mistake, she says: Forget about NO, you say it a lot anyway, and your dog learned to ignore it.

Instead she advises you to say: Eh-eh, Oops, Gotcha or something in that nature. Let's be honest here folks. Do you say NO more naturally or Eh-eh? How about your husband, boyfriend, friends, vets, or the kids? Nobody will remember Eh-eh.

We've trained thousands of dogs that respond to "NO" and your dog is no different.

Bottom line, she believes after using treats constantly and giving your dog those hot dogs just for being alive, your dog will eventually listen and respond to you, just as well, anywhere and anytime.

Val Masters also Believes, if anyone guarantees their work with dog training, they don't know what they are doing.
