BONUS #2:
-- No More
Barking Excessively --
Put an End to Your Dog's Barking
in Your Presence or Absence
Learn how to teach your dog that barking is OK, but not excessively.
And it needs to stop on your command. If your dog barks only
when you are away and you've tried a pet store bark collar
and had no luck with it, it's time to know which bark collars
the real pros rely on. (Hint: It is not Pet Safe.) Unfortunately,
your typical Pet Smart or Petco still DOES NOT carry any of
these brands. Learn how to get the peace and quiet back and
be on good terms with your neighbors. Folks, this is the only
way to save your dog’s vocal cords and, not to forget,
your sanity.
BONUS #3:
-- Stop Your Dog's Destructive
Chewing --
Save Yourself Thousands of Dollars
in Damages
Whether it is on your valuable furniture, your shoes, your
cell phone, your remote control, your socks, your sprinkler
system, or your spa cover, some dogs will never outgrow the
destructive chewing. You can exhaust your dog by running or
walking him all day, yet he still might chew on your electrical
wires or your fancy Persian rug. Buying lots of strong toys
and constantly rotating them helps, but very little. This
tip alone will easily save you hundreds of dollars, if not
thousands, by keeping your valuable items from becoming the
victim of your dog’s teeth.
BONUS #4:
-- Put an End to Your Dog's
Digging --
You Wish That They Declawed Dogs,
But They Don't
Dogs usually dig to get out, to cool down, to look for and
eat worms, to trim their nails or to have a blast making Swiss
cheese of your yard. Some dogs dig to look for roots, to bury
a bone or to sniff the scent that comes out of the ground.
I'm sure the last few reasons are pretty rare. At last, find
out what stops your dog from digging and what doesn't.
BONUS #5:
-- Poop in
One Area Only --
How to Teach Your Dog to Eliminate in
a Designated Area
Save yourself and your kids from constantly
stepping on your dog's doo-doo and limit those flies to one
area only. Plus, get rid of the yellow spots on your lawn.
Note: This secret also speeds up the progress of potty training
your dog.
BONUS #6:
-- -- Dish
Bowl Guarding --
Stop Your Dog From Guarding His Dish
While Eating
Most owners assume that the best way to stop a dog from guarding
his bowl is to snatch away the dish. They are tragically mistaken.
This only masks the problem and never really gets to the root
cause of this dangerous habit. Someday, somehow, you WILL
see your dog guarding or lunging at you over something else.
Here's how true aggression experts solve this once and for
all. And NO, you cannot always fight fire with fire. So there
will be no slamming, kicking, hanging, or yelling at your
dog to prove your point.
BONUS #7:
-- Mastering the
Art of Fetching "Correctly" --
How to Teach Your Dog to Bring Back
the Ball and Release it
Let's face it; your dog probably takes the
object, but doesn't always bring it back to you. Or it may
bring back the ball, but won't let go of it. From tennis balls
to squeak toys to tug-of-war toys, this is the best way to
teach your dog the rules of the game. Right now your dog is
thinking to himself, "You mean you’re telling me
that I have to run allllllll the way there... and just hand
it to you? Your Majesty? Yeah, right. Won't you come and chase
me for it? That's how we do it in our doggie kingdom!"
BONUS #8:
-- Stop Dog Attacks --
How to Stop "Other" Dogs From Attacking You Two on Your Walks

bat, stun-gun or even a real gun. This tool works whether
you are walking your dog or jogging by yourself. Don't worry.

Because Kevin is Much Nicer than Your Average Fella!
Nametag Mistakes All Dog Owners Make
Why revealing your dog’s name and address
isn’t smart after all!
Do not print your address on your dog’s nametag. Here’s
why: Unless your dog is found by one of your nice neighbors,
it may not be returned to your doorstep. Instead, make a new
tag with your phone number that reads:
Has Cancer - Needs Meds
(916) 247-2499
Now, why am I suggesting this? Sadly, cancer is one of those
things that have touched us all in one way or another. So
no matter how cute, how gorgeous, how rare, how expensive,
how well-mannered or even how well-trained your dog may be,
most of those who might find your dog would find it difficult
to get attached if he isn’t going to be around that
long.
Mentioning your dog’s name is also another big mistake.
Again, if someone decides to keep your dog, let them at least
suffer by going through the hassle of renaming your dog. The
same applies to the address. It is NOT smart or safe to let
perfect strangers know your last name, where you live, how
you live or what kind of vehicle is parked in your driveway.
Don’t forget to include the area code on the tag. This
is important, since dogs can end up miles away, in a totally
different county, or just in case you are traveling out of
town. Make sure the phone number is your "cell"
number, NOT a landline. If that day ever comes when your dog
is missing, you’ll want to grab your mobile phone and
look for your dog—not make a thousand trips back and
forth to see if anyone called your home phone. Relying on
a microchip or the rabies tag doesn’t help either. Anyone
with the wrong intentions could still keep your dog.
So think about this, who would want a dog that could cost
thousands of dollars in vet bills, including various tests,
to find out what kind of cancer the dog has and whether it’s
even treatable? Don’t write “a sick dog.”
People will see that your dog doesn’t seem ill and assume
that he has fully recovered.
Don’t rely on having the vet’s number on the
tag. If your dog is ever lost and someone decides to locate
you, wouldn’t you rather get that call instead of your
vet? Veterinarians and their staff are busy and a message
can easily be misplaced or forgotten. Plus, this could happen
after hours or on a holiday. Besides, if your dog is ever
hurt, I’m sure that you’d want to be the one making
that critical decision in his treatment, not a complete stranger.
Always make sure that your dog’s wearing his or her
collar with this tag. Always. People naturally trust a dog
that is wearing a name tag rather than a dog that appears
to be a stray. You can never be too careful. Your dog could
bolt out the door, dig or chew its way out of your yard, take
advantage of an open door or, worst of all, face a natural
disaster. All this results in your unattended dog running
scared. And if that day ever comes, you’d want your
dog with a collar and this tag.
This is one of my secrets that all my clients love and appreciate.
Please don’t put this off. Get it done immediately.
If some day the animal control officers happen to find your
dog, they usually will do their best to get hold of you first.
This could save you close to a hundred dollars in surrender
fees. I hope you never have to face that day, but if you ever
do, hopefully this tip will ensure your dog’s quick
and safe return.
